How To Apply Dbrand Skin Without Hair Dryer

I didn't worry about this until I saw a video where this guy was replacing the lens glass and it simply took him virtually twoscore secs to loosen the adhesive of the camera glass .. i might have used the hair dryer for longer than forty secs , yous really recollect information technology's fine?
If you did, you'll notice an issue in the next viii months and can become it replaced under warranty.

If your consumer law mandates water impairment coverage, you could try submerging information technology within a pail of distilled water, 10 cm deep for 30 minutes should be plenty since the IP67 rating covers more than than that. If information technology condenses, so claim for warranty and quote your local consumer constabulary regulation and the IP67 rating.
That'due south a archetype 😂

Buy water harm wouldn't exist covered under warranty
What water damage is a hair dryer going to cause?

Could you have weakened it? Yes. The likeliness depends on i. What setting of estrus you had the dryer on and ii. How long you lot applied oestrus to that spot. To avoid that verbal problem I move the dryer up and down regardless of the section of skin I'g working on. This ensures a fairly fifty-fifty level of oestrus beyond the device at any fourth dimension—avoiding a single hot spot.

My answer remains the aforementioned. Yous could. There's no fashion to know for sure without trying to lift the glass. I wouldn't suggest that though. If y'all don't discover any adverse furnishings like loose glass or adhesive pieces, I would say yous're ok. Only attempt to distribute the estrus a little more in the future

I was applying a dbrand peel on my iPhone 12 but effectually the photographic camera module area it'southward a scrap difficult to stick information technology down; dbrand suggests using a hair dryer to stretch the skin and make it work.. and so I did, I applied the pilus dryer hot air straight where the cameras are! That'southward okay, but my business organisation is .. using the pilus dryer would have caused the adhesive of the photographic camera lens drinking glass to weaken, now the photographic camera drinking glass didn't autumn off but could the hair dryer have made the adhesive weaker? I mean, could it exist that for case water is more probable to enter the camera equally the adhesive is not as stiff anymore in instance I drop my phone in a pool? Or could the camera lens glass autumn off more easily at present in case I drib information technology too hard on the floor?
The hair dryer was on the lowest force but on the highest temperature, and trust me it tin can get very hot ..yous wouldn't exist able to put your fingers in front of information technology, even at its lowest strength..
Is there any way to examination this?
I don't think you did any damage just putting a hair dryer to your iPhone (on the camera, no less) is definitely non a smart thing to practise. Like you lot said, hair dryers can get very hot, and being that the iPhone is made of metals, glass, adhesive, and other composites, and they will all expand at unlike rates from apace increasing, direct heat. Normal weather changes is fine just a pilus dryer is something else, and the very high tolerances the photographic camera module must maintain for the lens elements and sensor to be perfectly aligned would go far especially sensitive to impairment. The metal frame likely became very hot and I'chiliad not sure that helped the blanket on the lenses. So in the future, I'd strongly advice confronting the use of a hair dryer.
